I can access the linux server in my company from my desktop windows explorer. I guess samba is working.

I have a few questions.
- I don't have the linux account and I have never accessed it from shell. Is my windows login account same as the linux account if I want to have one?
- From the image, you see that there are three group or user names. Do they match the owner,group and others in linux users each other?
- I made a test copy a file to a folder in window explorer but I heard that actually I don't have the permission in linux. So can we say it is an alternative way to access the folder even against the user permission in linux?
