A former shared filesystem which is not available

ggod morning, i need your helo,

there is a hp_ux server named XYZ, somebody told me there was a shared network file system which was used for several tasks but now its not avalibale, but he doesnt remain which was the name of the machine which it it had this FS.
evnthouh in a file called fstab is not registered.
Is there any way to track on the system which was the shared network file system and which server it came from ?
Thanks in advanced ?

fstab are for what needs to be mounted at boot time, whatever is mounted after would be in mnttab, but removed as soon as it is unmounted..., your only options now are to look in whoever mounted .sh_history and see or hope you have and mnttab backup file at the time it was mounted...

PLS check the /etc/hosts . if hte hosts has any NFS communicate with other host.
and check the system log (/var/adm/syslog/*).maybe some info can told you ./etc/fstab also help ,but if you do not have mark the mount info in the /etc/fstab ,it is not useable.
