Utilities for handling interactions

Greetings~~~

My little knowledge says tat there are tools / utilities available like expect and dialog for handling interactions within the linux CLI for scripting specially during automation of any tasks or building UI in the CLI.

Is there any other tools / utilities that you might be using to write shell scripts for automated test cases or building UI in the CLI

And also let us know about the tools/utilities that you may use as a part of best practices in shell scripting.
