upload FTP

I have a ftp server up , however when I upload a file from my desktop to the server I get this message:

ftp> get uploadtest.txt
Local: uploadtest.txt Remote: uploadtest.txt
227 passive Mode ( 192,168,0,1,190,75)
550 Failed to open file
ftp>

Hi.
When uploading files with ftp you should use put and not get. Get will download files

I ve used 'put' but still no upload and this is the error that apears

553 counld not create the file

also I have adited the" /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf"
by removing the leading charecter # on this line

anon_upload_enable=yes

Looks like you don't have the appropriate permissions set on the upload directory. You will need to make this directory writable. Looks as if it is read-only right now.
