We have 2 Data centers in different part of the world , and we are in need to sync our home directory in both the locations .. that is if a file is written to my home dir in DC1 ..i want the file to be there in my home dir at DC2 systems too and vice versa ... the home dir content is stored in netapp filers in both the locations .. we thought of snapmirror at filer level , but that will make one location volume restricted and readonly .. is there a better way to do it at unix level .. most of the system in DC1 and DC2 are Solaris 10 ...
My reccomendation is to use either NFS or QFS.
