Hi,
I am experiencing a weird thing on my SUNFIRE machine with Solaris 9 OS.
When I do init 0 to shutdown the machine to go to ok prompt, what it did was shutdown and reboot like an init 6 command do. I did check the corresponding rc scripts that were involved with init 0 and compared with rc scripts when init 6 is invoke, but did not find anything unusual about it.
Can anyone give me any hints or any possible correction that I should do to resolve it.
Thank you in advance.

that does not sound right. does this occur every time or just once? were you on the console when you ran init? I would like to see the messages during the whole process. please post more details if you have them.
Hi Frank,
Yes, I was on the console when I run the command, and I did 3 times since we are also working on a mirrored disk problem that time. The last 2 init 0 command I did was when the mirrored disk problem already fixed.
Please see attachment to see the logs...
thanks
