Hi,
I created a new vdisk and presented it to a BL460c class server. The LUN was successfully created and presented.
My problem however is that I am unable to see the newly added LUN on my OS? I have rebooted the box but no joy.
Just wondering if you have any ideas on how this can be presented to the OS? It uses qlogic HBA card.

I would venture to guess you have not presented the LUN. If you are zoned correctly and have presented the LUN to the host (How? FC? ISCSI via CNA?) it would appear on rescan or reboot.
What type of connection do you have?
Have you loaded the qlaxxxx drivers?
run the command:
lsmod | grep -i qla

Issue resolved.
Mark54g you are absolutely correct, the LUN had not been presented corrrectly to the OS. I blew it away and added the host again and it worked fine. Problem was a typo in the the WWN; "l0" instead of "10" - grrrr
