so im new 
i whant to use and learn UNIX, but i dont know annythign about the system. so i need some help getting started
Get the "Unix for Dummies" book? It is a very readable introduction.
Also install a Linux disto' onto an Intel machine and play with it, particularly in command line mode in a terminal window.
where can i get it?
