someone tell me which is the latest object oriented, easy to use and handle, Unix version/release and from where to get it.
have my thanks in advance if you ll also mention some good books regarding Unix's administration and use for a perfect newbie.

That's easy for you to say but what do you mean by it? Workplace Shell like user interface interface? ObjectiveC/C++/Java programming? CORBA interfaces? SOAP?
i think something like workplace shell and also GUI. actually i meant versatile, flexible, easy to connect to internet and easy to install and use for a novice.

most real unix aren't "easy to use" for a beginner. you should maybe try linux... ubuntu is a good choice!
for a real unix, try as mentioned above, sun solaris. its well documentet and not that hard to learn.
