How to signal the end of a case statement

This is my code:

echo "Which Pipeline would you like to use?"
select cmd in "HVR1" "NS3" "WG-HAV"
do
	case $cmd in
	"HVR1" ) cp /home/GV/454/config/HVR1.MIDConfig.parse /home/GV/454/config/MIDConfig.parse;;
	"NS3" ) cp /home/GV/454/config/NS3.MIDConfig.parse /home/GV/454/config/MIDConfig.parse;;
	"WG-HAV" ) cp /home/GV/454/config/WGHAV.MIDConfig.parse /home/GV/454/config/MIDConfig.parse;;
	esac
done

I must be forgetting something because I cannot proceed with the rest of the script.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Syntax is

case $cmd in
casearg) do your stuff
;;
casearg2) other for arg2
;;
esac

You need to add the break builtin where you want to break the select loop :slight_smile:

cp ....; break ;;

Duh! Of course!
Thank you Radulov!
