hii

I am getting result of time_bmb.sql query in variable "a".
Now i want to use same result in new SQL query. i am giving some example.
******************************************
a=`sqlplus sa/sa@iccsdev_clone @time_bmb.sql`
echo $a
for j in $a
time_bmb_chk=`select * from table_time_bomb where objid = $j`
*************************************************

but this is not working plz suggest some diffrent methods.

What kind of error you are getting?..All looks good in this...U need to include do..done..
Also, include exit as the last statement in time_bmb.sql

a=`sqlplus sa/sa@iccsdev_clone @time_bmb.sql`
echo $a
for j in $a
do
time_bmb_chk=`select * from table_time_bomb where objid = $j`
done
