I very new to unix I know only the basic comands, ive just had my server upgraded to redhat 9 from 7.2, but now i have nothing no ftp http or anything and i need it setup with domain names ect can any one point me in the right direction.

If you need a hand with *specific* problems, then ask again, telling us what you've done so far, what's in your configuration files, what actual problems you're having, what you've tried to recitify the situation, etc, etc.
