Hard drives

Will some one tell me what this means.
"warning: ida 0 <slot 6> : command timed out on dev 1/42 blk 4824290 logical unit=0 blocks=5512102, size 2, cmd=0x20."

I'm running SCO 505 on a proliant 1600r.

Thnank you in advance.

The computer asked a disk to do something but got no response. So it had to ask a second time.

Thanks, I get this often, what could be going on in there?

Probably an overloaded buss. There is a limit to many disks you can hang on one buss, overload the buss and it can't service all of the drives fast enough.

Or it could be a disk that is going bad.

Or it could be a bug in the driver.
