first step installing webserver goes wrong

when installing apache 22 i get this error ...
can someone help me what to do ?

Very few systems are set up to properly build source code. You probably shouldn't be building apache from source. You should install it using your distribution's usual package manager.

If it's FreeBSD, 8.2 is currently beta ...

Okay, so freebsd does appear to build most things after all, making you a rare exception to what I posted above. Another exception is gentoo. Are you using the ports system to install apache or trying to build it by hand?

i used the ports system ...installing with package doesn't work either .
the reason is probably i didn do a standard install of freebsd ...
or portupgrade i didn do right ?

is it possible i get these errors because i installed cvsup while my /usr/ports map was not empty ?
