I have an input which is like this

I have an input which is like this

I want to modify the first entry as

0100 201 20071203 1 90 100

ie I want to change the date and the pass state of the first row only
How to do that?

If it is a small file, just edit it with ed, vi, vim or your favorite editor.

It is a large file. But the modification is only for the first line.
I want a script which does that:)
