Hi,

Can anubody tell me how to log in to a remote server through console?

Your help is appreciated..

Do you mean remote access? Pick one of SSH, Telnet, RSH
Do you mean networked KVM? Check your local hardware retailer, cause this can seldom be done in software alone.

Thanks pludi..

  I meant remote access. I thought, there would be a different way of doing it as the console IP seems to be different than the regular one. We normally telnet to one normal IP & then telnet to another IP \(which seems to be the console log in IP\).

  Is the procedure different?

if you are using solaris you can logon to console via ALOM Ip
