Comparing two files

HI ALL,

i have two files each with three columns.
i need to compare the row in file 1 is present in file 2 using FOR loop.
Please Help.

Try:

while read line; do
  if grep -qx "$line" file2; then
    echo "$line" from file1 is present in file2
  fi
done <file1
