Cannot execute binary file

Hi,

When i was trying to execute binary file i am getting the below " cannot execute binary file " error message."

My Unix Version is : Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.1 (Tikanga)

Logged in as Sudo user and $PATH Value is below

/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/fornanthu/bin

I tried surfing the forums but the answers did not resolve my issues as i have changed my $PATH value as mentioned in the forum and tried.

Are you trying to run a 64bit executable in a 32bit system?

Could you post the output of:

uname -a
file <path/to/binary>
