We'll report about Unix in my school, for Operating Systems subject...
with Installation demo....

I'm wondering if System V, which is from original developers AT&T still exist
and downloadable? because I cant find it anywhere...

then i found out that Solaris, MacOS even Linux falls under Unix Version..

i pick Solaris for installation Demo because it is the most widely used Unix Version nowadays .... but there are groups reporting about Solaris,Linux, MacOS already...

So im wondering if System V still exist and compatible with P4 PCs...

there are more, but another one is BSD. I think there are 3 versions of BSD, I think the most used one is freeBSD www.freebsd.org

but i think we'll stick to solaris since we already passed our documentation about it...

my follow up question....

do anyone know what system v requirements are?
so we can have a proof that even installer of system v still exist,
we cant demonstrate it with hardware nowadays?

( just because System V is the AT&T's standard/original version of UNIX... )
