I required brief about the zfs creation on solaris 10 with x86 platform.
I had done with sparc system. Is it same or different as Sparc.
The commands are exactly the same.
The only difference is on x86, due to the fdisk partitioning, more devices (partition and slices) are available than on SPARC (slices only) to create pools.
as i am having 8 disks with 140GB each.
Can i configured zfs for 6 disks and RAID1 for 2?
Please elaborate, zpools can be any combination of raid0, raid1, raidz and raidz2.
