Only true if you are using Veritas products.
should be /dev/dsk/cXtXdXs0
but its a great site.. Missing IRIX and thats a shame because it's really strange

my costumers would kill me if i would reboot their fireserver only for a "small" kernel reconfiguration.... 
sun calls it Dynamic Reconfiguration, and it is able to change nearly every HW-situation in that server.
also semaphores & shared memory parameters are dynamic.
but nothing to discuss, at least a nice page but it is out of day....
