You may want to try and type from a terminal console iwconfig, the output should indicate the wireless system device installed on your system, than use the system Network configuration management utility to configure the device to driver...
OR
You may want to try this module to load WINXP drivers for your wireless device.
ATrpms - by Distribution > Fedora 8 > ndiswrapper

If your distro doesn't automatically detect the card, it's time for the old-fashioned "find a driver" game. Some of the older Linux WLAN sites have pretty good troubleshooting instructions. Linux & Wireless LANs is pretty ancient but especially the links section is probably worth visiting.
