what difference between "terminal" and "console"

If those terms were used in a unix context, I guess that I would say that a terminal is a display and keyboard. And the console is a special terminal for system messages, rebooting, etc.

But these terms can have various other definitions. And this isn't really a c question, so I'm not sure what you are really asking.
