VMware 6.5 Beta Build 91182 (Workstation Development branch)

VMware allows you to run 'virtual machines' inside a Linux host. It is not an emulator. It provides a virtual computer within the host which can boot whichever OS you decide to put on the filesystem image that is used as a harddrive. It will run DOS 6.22, Win 3.1, Win9x, WinNT/2000/XP/2003, Linux, Novell, and more. Linux guests are now supported in Unity mode. More Unity preferences are available. Record/replay of VM sessions was enhanced. VMware Tools support for X.org 1.4 was added. Building of VMware kernel modules was fixed. Rendering of several DirectX 6 and DirectX 7 games in Windows guests was fixed. Windows Vista SP1 guests are now detected correctly. Several other fixes were made.
