I want to install VCS 5 on solaris 10
the product states it needs 3 nic cards. how to install it if I have 2 cards only (this is just for demo)?

Provided you have enough ports you can do so in exactly the same way as with three, there will however be no way of configuring a correctly redundant multi-nic.
NICs are not the limitation here, ports are. As reborg indicates if you have enough ports, you can set it up, you will just not have the ipmultinic resource.
You do need a minimum of 3 ports. The cluster private network requires 2 ports then you still need one port to communicate on your public network.
Ideally you would use 4 rather than three even in a reduced config.
GAB, LLT, PUB, PRIV each having it's own port.
