root@leo # uname -a

don't worry about the current. download the latest kernel patch and apply first.
or prior to patching, reboot the stem once to verify.
can you find the patchlog file?

erm... How to find the patchlog ?

You may want to check here:-
/var/sadm/install_data/<patchcluster name>_log

Are you looking for:

showrev -p

or

patchadd -p

? I didn't quite get what are you trying to find.

Hi all,

after i download the latest "Solaris 10 SPARC Recommended Patch Cluster"
follow the below step is it correct ?
really pressure on doing this...

#cd / ; sync;sync;sync; init S
# svcadm enable svc:/system/filesystem/local:default
# ./installcluster

is it the correct step?

once you're in single user, just cd to the patch dir.
issue ./installcluster --s10cluster

I enter the directory, and found that don have this file
installcluster

root@leo # unzip -q 10_Recommended.zip

note: didn't find end-of-central-dir signature at end of central dir.
(please check that you have transferred or created the zipfile in the
appropriate BINARY mode and that you have compiled UnZip properly)
root@leo # cd /patches
root@leo # ls
10_Recommended critical.tar install_cluster_fast

Hi all

the unzip problem resolve, this is due to the current patch version not allow to unzip the huge size zip file.
The size of the Solaris 10 patch clusters now exceeds the size limit for the standard unzip utility. Patches need to be applied to resolve this issue

Download and install (SPARC) patch 119254-63 or later to solve the problem =)
with below command

# patchadd 119254-63
