Unixware Crash ...

Hi,

I need help, one of our servers is down, and all data in that Server are critical:

The Scenario:
-------------

I have a computer with the next architecture:

architecture=IA32
bus_types=PCI2.10,ISA,PnP1.0
hostname=xxx.xxx.xxx (the real name is hidden)
hw_provider=Generic AT
hw_serial=UW7B00001
kernel_stamp=98/04/03
machine=Pentium
num_cg=1
num_cpu=1
os_base=UNIX_SVR5
os_provider=SCO
release=5
srpc_domain=
sysname=UnixWare
user_limit=10
version=7

Everything was fine, but on monday the system crash, over and over again with a dump proccess.
After check it, i found that the problem is not present when the network adapter is disconnected from de network, or is not present on the system.
If someone have a clue about the reason of the problem, i will appreciated a lot.
This is a link for download the dumpfile:
"http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OR5A93UJ"

  • I put the link between " " because the forum has a rule of 5 posts minimum for paste a link and make it visible and clickeable (please copy and paste without " ")

  • It's an auto extract file.

If you want more information please let me know.
Thanks a lot.
Danilo

Since this is a criticial server you should place a support call with the vendor ASAP.

You seem to have isolated the problem to the network card. Have you tried simply replacing the card?
If the system has an IDE disk drive, you should be able to restore the complete system to a new system using http://www.microlite.com . Check the list of supported hardware at SCO | for current network cards, and, if you use the graphical interface, video cards.
