Unable to search NFS Share

My customer has created a share on a Windows Server 2012 system and exported it as a NFS share.
I can mount the share on a SCO system, but I only have read/write access. So I am unable to list the contents of the share. It is as if the directories had 0666 permissions.
My customer says that this is a limitation of the NFS server?

Can you create a directory?
Is it browsable?
If not, can you do chmod +x on it?

I'd suggest that "List folder contents" is missing from the Windows permissions. That should fix it. On Windows NFS shares you get the lesser of the NTFS and NFS set permissions.

Bedtime reading from Microsoft blog site here.

And now, I can write to that directory on the client(As user bscscx01). I also added the 'root' option as you suggested, however, I don't see any significant difference in the file created :

@serano33.......please explain why, after joining this forum only one day ago, your only post is a (seemingly) off-topic question on a thread that you were not previously subscribed to?

Should you have created a new thread?

It was a spam leadup, a scramble of a post made 12 months ago from a slightly-related topic. User has been banned.
