Ok, here i am in 2008 trying to figure out how to edit the port of Telnetd in sco openserver 4.2.
I googled my butt off and cant seem to find any info. Does anyone have some specific howto's or good documentation on this?
I do not have access to man pages for old openserver versions. The the a recent telnetd man page says:
This is a fairly standard way of doing things. This means that inetd selects the port, does the listen, and accepts the connection before telnetd ever runs. So you need to edit inetd.conf
Edit /etc/services.
Look for telnet and change the port number from 23 to whatever.
