Hi
I have a server previously configured, that was given to me, but on attempt to start the console, it hangs.
firstly I did:
start /SYS
them:
start /SP/console
then it says that its starting, but nothing happens....waited and waited
Can you give me hint
What happens if you use the rKVM provided by the ILOM?

checking the possibility of connecting using web interface
It is accessible from the ILOM webinterface. A java application, that simulates a monitor, keyboard and mouse on your computer. You should be able to find it from the web-gui...

hi,
As @DukeNuke2 said, you can/must access the ILOM interface from http/https on the ILOm ip that you configured before..
if you cannot the access , then you check the network settings ( or web )
[Configure ILOM Communication Settings](https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19569-01/820-1188-12/core\_ilom\_managing.html\#50413602_Enable HTTP or HTTPS Web Access Using the CLI)
if you can access , then you must check the system events logs to find out what the problem is
Using the ILOM Service Processor Web Interface to View System Information

This, in my experience, is generally related to the firmware, I would start by updating it.
