solaris not asking for CD's ?

Hi,
Im trying to install solaris 10 on a sunfire server, I have solaris on 5 cd's. but the installation only uses CD 1 and dosent ask me for the others??. I have no man pages as a result and who knows what else. why isnt it asking me for the other 4 CD'S?? It just reboots from installing the first then goes to command prompt.

help please
ty

Which command prompt do you get?

ok

or

#

I boot into solaris. i get the # prompt

OK, let me ask you this. Are you on a SPARC or X86 platform?

SPARC. It installs fine from the first CD but when it restarts it just boots into solaris without asking for the other CD's...???

Humm, that is interesting. You did select the Entire Distribution software option? Have you checked /var/sadm/install_data/install_log?

as fpmurphy says, did you select the entire distribution?

also, when installing from the first cd, do you get to do all the usual stuff, like server name / disk partitioning / ip address etc?

yes and yes. I selected the entire distribution and it asked me for the ip settings, hostname, partitoning etc...
Thanks for your help guys. It's got me baffled.

But what does the install log say you selected? And where did these CDs come from?

Here's the output I got after the installation of CD1. can anyone help?? just boots solaris after CD1 has installed.
Thankyou.

BTW, when I install Solaris I always use just the first CD. It never asked me for any other CD's because I select a flash install. I have a flar that I previously created. My flar happens to have man pages but I could have built a flar without man pages. My flar has a bunch of software that I added like lsof, gnupg, and cups. I suspect that something like this is going on.
