Solaris 11 Daylight Saving Time

Hello,

Quick question: How do I verify if my Solaris 11 hosts/zones, configured with NTP, would change automatically to the DST?

Thanks!

Solaris system clock and NTP are all UTC based, so aren't affected by time zones or DST.

The time displayed depend on the environment variable TZ so different processes might display different times.

You can check which days the clock will move from/to DST by running this command (substitute CET by your own timezone name):

$ zdump -v CET
