I have a network of windows 98 PC's that are connected to a unix machine using TCP/IP and Termlite emulator.
Is it possible to access the PC's files from the unix machine and could I create files on the PC's from the unix box?
No problem. You need a product called "Samba" for your unix box which will allow you to mount Windows file shares, and use windows printers. I believe they are at http://www.samba.org
