Samba Share access from windows

Hello,

I want to connect to two samba shares both on the same Linux box but each with a different username from a windows server 2008. I created 2 gpos to connect and I can connect to the shares individually via net use command, but once I entered credentials for one of the shares, it seems I can't access any of the other shares on the same machine.
Not sure if the gpos are needed but trying some net use commands dont help. On the unix side there are no aliases to each share just one different username per share. I am not a unix guy but thought i would post a forum here for help. I am thinking what if i ask the unix guys to set the same username on each share and run a net use * to map the drives?
Not sure what to do but any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem with Samba running on SCO, and assumed it was because the version of Samba was old (3.0.30). I [resolved|dodged|bypassed] the issue by moving one of the shares to another SCO system.
