safe-rm is intended to prevent the accidentaldeletion of importantfiles by replacing /bin/rm with a wrapper whichchecks the givenarguments against a configurable blacklist offiles and directoriesthat should never be removed. Users who attempt todelete one of theseprotected files or directories will not be able todo so and will beshown a warning message instead.
