Resolution..??

When i start my pc after the installation of suse linux it ask me for resolution but not for graphical interface, for console, can i run a command to change it again?

Thanx!

Check to see if you have "Xconfigurator", or "xconfigurator".
If not, there are other options, but as far as I know, that tool is very simple to use.

I think Linux_fan is talking about changing console resolution. If so Xconfigurator will not be helpfull.

In linux you can change console resolution in number of ways. First way is to change straightly the value of field 'vidmode' in your kernel. man vidmode for more info.

LILO can be used to change console resolution. You can insert 'vga=ask' (ask user input while boot), 'vga=normal' (80x25) or 'vga=ext' (80x50) in your lilo.conf which controlls console resolution. man lilo.conf for more information

Another way is to use program 'SVGATextMode'. Using this program you can change console resolution, font or cursor size....
