Could you please advice me as im a new guy into Solaris ...is it possible to have qmail up and running on Solaris 10 and do you know where i can find some documentation on downloading and configuring - qmail?

If you want straightforward instructions to install and configure qmail...you can check out
A qmail installation guide so advanced it takes 2 years to update - It's gotta be Qmailrocks.org
But I have to warn you, the versions of vpopmail,qmailadmin and others used in this site are pretty outdated.
I also suggest you take a look at qmail Information for qmail configuration
As far as the solaris question...qmail is supported on solaris.
qmail: the Internet's MTA of choice
search for solaris in this page and you will find it under setup list.

thank you. I will have a look on this papers. I have configured qmail on many linux distros but never on any unix!
