I normally use the JetAdmin suite to do that. You should be able to find it in the HP site.

I'm sorry, but I misspoke when I said JetAdmin, when I really meant HPPI. It comes in a package named SOLe134.PKG (134 I believe is the last version) which you should be able to find in the HP website. HPPI has no GUI, just text. You run a simple, self explanatory script to configure the printer interface.
