I download sun solaris 10(sol-10-u5-ga-x86-dvd-iso-a), then I extract the file but I cannot install. after that I burn it to DVD than reboot the computer to make it install but it dosenot work. Please tell me how can I do:mad:
download the file sol-10-u5-ga-x86-dvd-iso-b also. unzip both and do a:
cat file1 file2 > solaris.iso
burn the iso file and you are done. there is a "howto" on the solaris downloadpage also... better start reading the "fine" manuals

you should have the installation disk if you've bought a system. So y bother downloading? But if you're gonna install on another older system, I've got nothing to say. Just follow online instruction CLOSELY. You should get it working
