I installed an apache2 on a ubuntu 18.4 with php 5.6 for an old project I'm working on. Unfortunately I can't install the requested modules like mysqli and gd2 for php5.6 because they are not available anywhere. Is there any way I can manually download and fix this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Cherimos,

try the following:

```
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ondrej/php # thx to https://deb.sury.org
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt install php5.6 php5.6-gd php5.6-mysqli
```

Dont't forget to reload apache2/nginx.
