I am in the process of installing ora 8.1.6 on RH 7.2. According to the docs #define SHMMAX is supposed to be set at 1/2 mem installed. The path listed to this dir is /usr/src/linux/include/asm. The file name is shmparam.h. I can't seem to locate the dir or the file. if anyone might know what dir this file is in, let me know.
