Openchart2 is a simple charting and plotting library designed for incorporation with a variety of Java applications. The library can generate two dimensional bar, pie, radar, and scatter charts with customized titles, axis labels, legends, and colors. The simplicity of the library is its strongest feature. The newest version of Openchart2 introduces refactored coordinate system code to improve extendability and functionality. A box coordinate system, which frames the chart in a box with more traditional centered axes labels, has been added to the library. Version 1.4 also contains a new dot plot chart and associated optimized models for fast visualization of large quantities of data. Radar plots have been improved significantly, plotting grids on the radar plot itself rather than relying on confusing coordinate system.
