I have an HBA on a Sun-Fire-V215 server that suddenly went offline. Please i need help.
the two leds at the back of the HBA are blinking green.
Can you provide some useful command outputs from the system so that we can see the possible reasons?
what OS? how you determined its offline , etc...
what type of hba are you using?
put the output of following command:
fcinfo hba-port
check /var/adm/messages if the hba has gone offline suddenly.
Can you please execute this command:
# luxadm -e port
And see if you can see the HBA from there ??
is it the HBA that disappeared or the LUNs Mapped to that HBA ?
if it's the LUNs disappeared, then you may want to consider removing the cable and put it back to initiate again ?
