Is there any way to find the number of unique users in a system other than
who | cut -d" " -f1 | sort -u | wc -l
?
who|awk '{prin($1)}'|uniq -c|wc -l
Don't forget the "t" in "print"
You could also do: w -h | awk '{print $1}' | uniq -c | wc -l
Thanx PxT
