Our NIS master server went down. We have since fixed it and brought it back up. However all of are machines still point to the slave server when looking at it with ypwhich. My question is how do i point the servers back to the master.

if you restart the nis daemons (ypbind) on the client, they have to point to the master server, if that was the first on the lit of ypservers
The easiest resolution was to kill the YP Server on the slave machine. All clients immediately looked back to the master. Thanks for your help
