I have faced to the real problems is my workplace has a software is called by Timewise and is designed for my company that running on the SCO OpenServer 5.0.2. I have contacted SCO and found that SCO OpenServer was discontinued.

Unfortunity TimeWise is only working on SCO Server 5.0.2, even SCO.com still does not have that version, if you know who have it or sell it, please let me know

Thank you

ps: Please accept my apology for any convinience if you think I post in wrong section, I have valid license key with SCO OpenServer 5.0.2 and it was install in year 1996, it is very difficulty for me to find out who is having installation disk, is there any one would be kind help me.

Why do you think that your application software (Timewise) will only run on 5.0.2 and not 5.0.4, or 5.0.5 or 5.0.6?
Is your license key for the Host system (no TCP), or Enterprise?

Thank you for your response JGT, I have liaised with Timewise developer, they recommence to me that Timewise working on informix sql database, and informix database is only work on certain SCO Server 5.0.2

The main problems that many previous Technical People had faced to is they could not find SCO installations diskette anywhere at all. beside that the new generation of TimeWise does not meet my workplace's requirements, that why no-one can replace that server. :frowning: and it is stills working until nowaday :frowning:

I strongly believed there must be someone around this world may have it and still have it, that why I keep asking help from forums to forums.

Please do not be sensitive about licences, because I have contacted SCO and confirm my licence is valid. JGT, could you please help, thank you

it working on the networks so it should be Enterperise, thank you for your query

I have checked my [archives|junk pile], and I have media kits for 5.0.4, 5.0.5 and 5.0.6.
I have one customer, who started off with a 5.0.0, and has upgraded all the way to 5.07., I will check with them tomorrow to see if they have a 5.0.2 media kit. I also have Informix 3.3 on 5-1/4 diskettes, that runs on 5.0.7, and I have another customer who uses Lyrix, that he purchased for 286 Xenix in 1987, that runs on 6.0.0.
Unless your application uses the Netscape Web Server, I am hard pressed to understand why it will not run on any of the later versions.
There was a change in 5.0.4 that would preclude you from installing programs via "custom" that were prepared for an earlier version.
You can use the file /etc/perms/informix to create a tarball (use absolute file names) of all the files that Informix uses, and restore the tarball onto a later release (post 5.0.4) and expect that the application will still work.

I have a 5 user enterprise complete set available, purchased used off ebay a long time ago. I've got $106 in it, which is a little more than the media kit.
If you are interested, you can leave a private message.

The media is common across all installation types as the activation code that goes with your system will install the correct files.
