My first impression of community.unix

Hmmmm

It reminds of Microsoft VS Apple, I mean PC versus macOS

You give a PC to an elderly, I doubt he will use it that easily, you give a mac to a novice you will see him using it after three days...

In other words old folk like me have to adapt but if you are open-minded there is no problem, in fact I find it fun, and even more I realise we can do great things here quite easily once the philosophy of how it is designed is about understood...

For newcomers, they don't have the penalising heritage of old guys of unix.com and can enter straight away and post into something far more attractive and colourful

Yes, it's a steep learning curve for us older ones, but bring it on!!!

I really like how Discourse works on mobile.

On desktop, we need a wider theme option.

I am working on one.

On mobile, I like the dark theme so much!

It's too good to see and use this on phone. Far far better and smooth over phone. We all have to learn this.
