Actually people who bump up a thread in (violation of our rules) are shooting themselves in the foot. Zero replies flags a question as unanswered. You can use our advanced search and pick a forum and then search for "at most 0" replies to get a list of unanswered questions for that forum.
mahatma, you need someone who knows both exceed and solaris cde well enough to help with an obscure problem. It could be that we don't have one. You may need to be patient. It may be that question never gets answered.
Also I do not interpret rule 4 to mean that you may never again raise the question. That adverb promptly must be there for a reason. I still love this thread where Cameron bumps his question after 10 months. It is always hard to draw a line in the sand, but my personal feeling is that a bump after a month or so is not prohibited.
