Mandrake 8.1

Hi all,

I have copied three .ISO files for Mandrake 8.1 from a Linux DVD onto my work LAN.
They are:

Mandrake81-cd1-inst.I586.iso
Mandrake81-cd2-ext.I586.iso
Mandrake81-cd3-supp.I586.iso

They're all +650M in size and I'd like to know what I need to do in order to create the three CD's (Install/Ext./Support) so that I can install it at home. I have access to Nero plus burner and would like to install this new version of Mandrake at home soon.

Open Nero, import .iso file, start burning. Which part are you having problems with?

A standard CD hold 650M, these are going to over-run aren't they?
Also, do you do anything special to make the install disk bootable or will that become part of the resulting import & burn?

The .iso images should already be bootable. It's added when the image is built. I have CD's here that are 700 meg... The images may still be less than 650 meg, as well. Remember:
650,000,000 bits is not 650 meg. It's closer to 619 meg...

Plus, since CD's are cheap, try burning the largest one and see what happens...
