Hello Forum Folks,
I'm hoping to find a trustworthy download of a (Solstice?) X.25 package suitable for Solaris 8.
I've been searching the Internet for many weeks (I am subscribed to "UNIX Packages", previously 'sunfreeware' and could not find anything).
Would anyone know or have this software?
Thank you,
Steve
Phew, X25, a blast from the past!!!
I assume this is SPARC we're talking about.
What X25 card is it? If it's a third party card then I guess the drivers came from the vendor. If it's a card that Sun OEM'd then won't the drivers by on the Solaris 8 DVD?

Hi .. yes SPARC
Basically I was looking for some test equipment .. card and software. I've perused eBay but only saw old cards with no CD-ROMs.
Yeah .. I'm an old salty X.25 remediation (to IP) engineer-type.
This is old enough for me to think you'll have to source that hardware and software separately. Doubt whether anyone will offer the full kit.
The hardware part no. was 501-1725
The hardware model numbers (as evolved) were X1009A, followed by X1019A, followed by X1145A
You can find these on eBay.
As I said, I would expect the drivers for this OEM'd hardware to be on (the later) Solaris 8 distribution DVD.
